Maybe you could help us out a little by stating your goals/ targets, and direct our attention to specifics you'd like feedback on. Im not an expert in this genre, so my attention could use a little help..

Not really my bag, but it held my attention for a long time. It definitely set a mood. If all the samples are cleared, I could maybe see this in a club scene or some other vibey (is that a word?) situation.

Awesome stuff. Really enjoyed both tracks. You have an excellent sense of which beats to use and when to use them. Are these all original samples? That would be great. Best of luck to you. Lots of talent.

Cheers for the feedback guys ,as for the drugs i gave them up a few years ago n music is my only drug i've been addicted to since i was a teenager n i'll never kick it ,all the samples i use i have license for so hoping for good things to happen with my music ,cheers guys its good to hear other peoples opinions and to take them onboard in a positive manner ,all part of the creative process ,once again thanks ,Mike(Killerhertz)

I'm not familiar with the sub genres of Electronica that use this type of drum feel, but I found the use of the half time drum beat with the quicker groove elements on top kind of interesting. A refreshing change from the usual 4 on the floor. It almost has a reggae influence peeking through at times.

I like the collage aspect of the production and the use of spoken word samples as transition elements. That may or may not limit the music's usefulness in film/TV so I would suggest doing ALT mixes without those voice elements in there just in case, if you're going for Film/TV opportunities. Make sure you have the licenses for those samples handy in case a library/publisher wants to pick up those pieces with the voices.

Again, I'm not very up on most Electronica, but I find your stuff to be fresh sounding compared to a lot of the "4 floor kick drum relentless just shoot me already" stuff out there.

Cheers Mazz great feedback,and yeah I'm looking to get my tracks into T.V. ,Film or Video games , I recently signed to Ocean Drive Records and Grimey grooves both are distribution / licensing deals , so it just depends on weather or not someone uses my sound in something which I'm praying for as I've been out of work since the recession hit and just put my time and money into something positive , my music .Once again cheers , Mike .

Hi Killerhertz. Not my comfort zone but I enjoyed listening! "Life on Tick" has a cool reggae groove near the start. Lots of interesting sounds coming and going. Builds well. I like the way it opens up at 3.22. "Acid Reign" has a pop-up happening on Reverbnation and the song stops after 20 seconds. What software do you use to put this together? Hi Doug cheers for the feedback ,yeah its a crazy section ,the hole track was made inside Cubase 4.5 ,there's a lot of MIDI programming but with that section it mainly comes down to cubase's audio engine which is awsome and a big player in the sound is my TC PowerCore the plugins are quality ,the only thing that lets it down is the fact it was mixed and mastered on some cheap monitors which I've since upgraded so hopefully there should be some better tracks in the near future .
