Hey everybody,

Here is my attempt at a Christmas song ala SUSAN BOYLE. It has taken up the better part of this past week to complete and I thought I would share with ya'll. Comments welcome. Just check out my TAXI page, the song is called "Where There is Christmas." Thanks!

Either somebody is going to have a lousy Christmas or your link needs fixin' ;)

the drum thing is really distracting to me

seems like a really nice song (cool voice!), but that drum thing is way getting in the way for me

like the cello and the strings, too

Generally speaking people who write songs for Susan Boyle scare me :o , but this one actually turned out really good. You had some fresh ideas on Christmas and that can get a little tricky. I'd be curious to know if it gets pushed through.

good luck

I think it could be pretty close for Boyle both in style and message. Maybe there were a couple awkward lyrics in there (?), I think the a&r interpretation of those will be a strong determining factor.

But a really good submission for that listing IMO

Thanks for the feedback folks. I just hope it hits the spot or this listing. Either way, I'm on to the next one. Thanks again!
