Ad agency listing, deadline Wed. Help? (new version)

Howdy folks - I'm wondering if you all think this is in the ballpark for this listing:
I got rid of the wurli and added mellotron flutes. Couldn't increase the tempo without weird artifacts. Any better fellas? Thanks!

A MAJOR NATIONAL AD AGENCY is in search of an UPBEAT, PLAYFUL, FEEL GOOD, FRESH, CONTEMPORARY, FULL-LENGTH SONG by an INDIE ARTIST or INDIE BAND with engaging Male or Female VOCALS. If they choose your song, it will become the branding theme in ads for a major PAPER GOODS MANUFACTURER whose message is all about FEELING HAPPY. Story lines and images (and ultimately your music/lyrics) will focus around finding HAPPINESS in the simplest things, those bright spots in your day that lift your spirit and reflect these uncomplicated, joyful moments with SIMPLE, INVENTIVE, INFECTIOUS, GENTLY PROPULSIVE ARRANGEMENTS using REAL INSTRUMENTS (think ukelele, acoustic guitars, vibes, flutes, hand claps, etc.). No jingles please! The initial licensing fee could range as high as $30K. You must own/control both the master recording and publishing.

I hope it's happy and peppy enough, like most of my stuff there seems to be a touch of melancholy. Deadline is soon, any suggestions? Mix okay?

Thanks so much!

Lucky Guy

I see blue skies in your eyes
I see birds and butterflies float by
I hear pure joy in your voice
yeah it lifts me up and makes me smile

all those little things each day
and all the little things you say
they raise me up to kiss the sky
I'm a lucky guy

we love warm nights and fireflies
while the crickets serenade the northern lights

all those little things each day
and all the little things you say
they raise me up to kiss the sky
I'm a lucky guy

hey Ethan..
I'm/We (now collab) are going for this one too..
This song Lucky Guy definitely put a smile on my face..
I'm wondering if U could make the tempo just slightly faster..
Also, I'm suggesting to U what I'm gonna do with ours tonight.. Add some tropical vibe & chimes..
Mix sounds balanced to me here..
I really really feel this would be even better a little faster.. HTH..

I like this a lot, sounds very natural and organic. Mix sounds really nice.
May not be "upbeat" enough... but maybe it's perfect! Who really knows?
Definitely worth $5

Hey thanks guys. Yeah, maybe not upbeat enough. Kel do you know if I can increase the tempo in PT without affecting pitch and without noticeable artifacts? Beat detective? Thanks for the listen Marc!
Peace,

"Kel do you know if I can increase the tempo in PT without affecting pitch and without noticeable artifacts? Beat detective?"

Ethan.. if Ur using PTLS 7.4 or 8, U can do that..
What U need is to turn on Elastic Audio for all the audio tracks..
Once all the audio tracks are Elastic enabled, U can change the tempo & all will follow.. HTH

KO
(ps: shortcut to enable all tracks.. hold down Mac option button while enabling Elastic Audio on 1 audio track & all will become enabled)

Shoot.

I was going to say it might sound good speeding it up a little,(because of the upbeat request) but Kel already beat me to it.

Love the harmony.

Great lyrics/vibe.

Good job

sincerely

Paul

Ethan, I like this but I think your song 'here's to sunny days' would be a better fit for this listing. that's a great piece & fits the mood of the listing perfectly imo.

Hey eo,

The upbeat thing MIGHT hold ya back but I love the song. I think it is cool.

Paul, Bill, Rob, thanks you guys. Yeah I think I might be doomed for a return on this one but I'm gonna throw$5 at it anyway, too late to change much at this point. If nothing else it's another arrow in my quiver, right?

Thanks peeps!

hey Ethan..
Did the Elastic Audio thingy work?
I think it might be worth submitting 2 versions.. 1 this one & 1 the sped up one IMHO..
Good Luck too..
