Referenced artists include: CHARLES BRADLEY, JAMES BROWN, AL GREEN, WILSON PICKETT, SHARON JONES, and MARLENA SHAW. We're looking for MELODIC songs with STRONG and DYNAMIC vocal performances. Please avoid songs with explicit lyrics. You must own or control 100% of the Master and Composition rights to submit for this listing. NO SAMPLES of other songs or artists can be incorporated into your track. Instrumentation must sound authentic and realistic. As always, do NOT copy or rip off the referenced artists or their songs in any way, shape, or form! Broadcast Quality is needed (excellent home recordings are fine.) I'm listening on my phone, so its small but
Coming across with taste and it's a great fit
My opinion would be get to that verse quicker
After the hook , as it's s feel good vibe.

I think this is WORKING and its a smooth groove. I'd go for it.

I also think J. crazyhooks is on about the song beginning - I would try and tighten that up to get to the meat more quickly.

I agree with the others, I would cut the "intro" after the first vocal intro by half and get to the verse sooner.
