Hello everyone,
Curious how at times, we just do not understand how a Critique or a Return can happen in a particular way at all.
Ok; we sent "Samba for you" and "Flowers of Brazil" for ...

Highly Successful Publisher of Period Music for FILM & TV Licensing URGENTLY needs AUTHENTIC, LATE 1960s to Early 1970s ERA BRAZILIAN JAZZ/PLAYBOY SWINGER STYLE Songs *and/or* Instrumentals for Film and TV Placements. Astrid Gilberto and Sergio Mendez & Brazil 66 are great examples of the style and era they need! This Publisher has become the HOT go-to company for some EXTREMELY popular TV shows, and they get TONS of GREAT FILM & TV placements for our members! A bunch of TAXI members have recently signed deals and received checks from this company. Some of those checks have been in the $10,000-plus range, depending on catalog size and quality! They DO NOT want material that was recently recorded and made to SOUND old. They will ONLY take AUTHENTIC, LATE 1960s to EARLY 1970s ERA BRAZILIAN JAZZ/PLAYBOY SWINGER STYLE Songs *and/or* Instrumentals that were actually recorded back in the day and have copyright dates that prove it!" etc ...
We were surprised by the Critique for "Samba for you":
"This is Salsa/Merengue. The piece lacks the authentic Brazilian flavor sought for this listing."
Well, "Flowers of Brazil" was forwarded ! with :
"This was much better Hector."
We called TAXI, we spoke with Tom, he said that he was going to make sure that they take a second view on this.
Hope they have not forgotten us !
So what do you think ? It almost looks like a simple confusion/error over the two Tittles of the Songs.
