Ethnic/Hybrid Return - Needs more compositional development

I always love when a yes/no submission receives a one-line critique nonetheless. Thank you.

Since screener said "Needs a bit more compositional development." I'm thinking it's because the piece stays on the same groove and bass throughout the whole track and doesn't really vary the chord structure??
(I've listened to a couple forwards for this pitch)
