I'm ok with another batch of returns, but it just blows my mind at the inconsistency of the listeners reviews. Don't feel bad. None of the songs I've had published in Nashville ever got a Taxi forward. You'll have to go there yourself if you want to get anywhere. One Minute is good enough.Cam

If you were submitting for Brooks & Dunn, I'm surprised Taxi kept that listing up. Another website discontinued their B&D listing when the group announced they were breaking up and I didn't submit anything for the Taxi listing because I assumed they were not forwarding songs for a group that wasn't going to be recording new material.I agree that "One Minute" has got the country market in its sights - don't stop pitching that one, it's on target for sure.Claire

"In Just One Minute" sounds like a cut to me, I could totally hear it on the radio!Doesn't sound like a great fit for B&D but it does sound like a great fit for someone down there in Nashville!I enjoyed both tunes!

I really don't think Taxi is the place for getting country forwards, let alone cuts. I had a return to the same listing as Jay with "Roses For No Reason". The screener said, "WOW, very very close." He went on to say that "You are knocking on the door of the top ten and in competition with the top songwriters for a super star act, so very close is not bad at all. Keep looking for other listings, this is well done"What gets me, if it really is that very very close, why doesn't the reviewer or someone at Taxi, who supposedly wants a country forward/cut as bad as the writers do, with all their contacts, why don't they say hey, here's what you need to do to make this a hit and here's who can help you do it? I think Taxi is fantastic for TV and film, but I don't think it's the place for country writers. I think you need to either move to Nashville or at least travel to Nashville and meet with publishers who can shop the material for you. Although I won't renew my membership, I have met a lot of great people on here, and I can still pop in and see what everyone is doing.Bucwww.taxi.com/bucwilliams
