They requested to please submit appropriate songs for this holiday (nothing too heavy/harsh), and please make sure there are no samples or profanity in your songs. Lyrics need to be positive, and of course geared towards the topic of “Mother’s Day” or “Mother.” Songs must be Broadcast Quality (excellent home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Noon (PST) on Wednesday, June 17, 2009. I like the vocal on this. Did you sing it? Very Luther Vandross'ish. Lyric is nice too. Couple things come to mind that might have worked against this one.-The arrangement seems a bit dated.-There doesn't seem to be a distinct, catchy, hear it once and you're singing it chorusI like the piece, and as already stated, think the vox on this are great, love the control and the 'riffin'.
