Screener 416 is killing me!
I get detailed feedback which is great and super helpful. However, this screener has forwarded tracks for one listing, then returned them for similar/same listings. Does anybody else have this issue?

Hi Kit,

What were the comments given for the return? I agree with the above comment that it really depends on the particular listing and more importantly the music examples given. I got a bit over-confident with my music submissions and I realized that everything in the listing should be carefully read, listened to and scrutinize before submitting. I am sure you are doing things right if you are getting your music forwarded. I have heard from other Taxi members say that even when you get a lot of forwards, there will still be lots of returns for various reasons. Don't be discouraged. If you want, you can share the track here and give us the listing where it was returned and maybe the forum can help you with further clarification.

Hi Kit,
Yes there are going to be more returns than forwards and one day hopefully it turns the other way and more forwards are showing up in your notification box. I also have learnt to read the submission carefully and several times, I just write, submit, read the return critique from a screener and try to improve it for another chance or write a totally new track and move on...another thing to realize as Michael has mentioned in the past TAXI TV shows is that some genres have a lot of submissions so it is tougher to get a forward.

I appreciate the responses. I am just feeling a little discouraged. But also I do need to be better about reading the listing thoroughly. More recently i've been a little lax on that. The critique that i got was quite specific which is nice. I will make some changes to those tracks.
I've only been at this a year and I'm definitely still learning. Thank you for the words of encouragement.
