I'm confused. If I am submitting a song as a SONGWRITER, why are the following questions asked or statements made:Examples:"Vocals don't have that true country twang""String sections in the chorus are a bit synthetic""Backing vocals in the verse should be in a higher register"Does Taxi leave it to the producer, or future performer to take care of the "twang" in the vocals or to kick the verse vocals up an octave? Thanks all ... and I still love this place and Taxi too ....... Just looking for some clarification ...... ThanksAshBoxClay

Ashbox, you want my 2 cents on this? I'll take that silence as a "yes". Post the listing you were applying for. I'm thinking it may have said something about how polished the submittal should be? Or something to that effect. Take another look. Thge whole idea about Taxi is that they know what the client is looking for and they're eager to provide it if it's available. So if they just wanted a great tune for a client that was going to re-record the song, you may have been on target. It sounds like that's not what they were after though(???). So check out that listing again and get back to us here, because I'm curious. Thanks Ashbox.
