What is the "Moonlighting Style"

So I got a trailer piece through (Thanks!) recently with a reference I don't understand:
"Nice job writing in this style. The 'Moonlighting' style of trailer writing has been super hot for years now."
Just not sure what "Moonlighting Style" is and none of my composer friends know either. Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard?
