High Quality Hip Hop drum sounds

Hey, so does anyone recommend any good sounds for high quality modern hip hop drums! I used some output arcade ones for the orchestral hip hop brief but they sounded pretty lo-fi and not clean and punchy for modern hip hop, like this! And that was also the screeners feedback.

I suggest cymatics.fm. They have a free pack called the "Trap Starter Pack". You will have to provide you email address but it is free. I have several of their free and paid sample kits; they are very modern and up to date.

Hope this helps.

Great shout to check out Cymatics! I'd never heard of them, but have already downloaded a ton of their product packs!

Cymatics is one of my go-to libraries. Tons of great samples to use. I also strongly recommend Native Instruments Battery 4, there are tons of sample packs you can buy that are current and sound great.

I do not recommend Splice for actual loops, just one shots (individual drums like snare, hats, kick, etc.) Looped beats from Splice are a quick way to get your tracks rejected by libraries, unless you chop and remix the heck out of them. If a supervisor Shazam's a track and someone else's name comes up, you are toast.

Interesting and thanks for the post and the response. I was told that I need more "modern" hip hop sounds, and this was perfect
