What Ratings Are Most Important?

So, what "Overall Ratings" categories hold the most weight and what kinds of scores do you people see for stuff that gets forwarded? Just got a custom with 7, 8, 8, 8, 7, 7 (usual order). Not sure what that means in terms of potential. Screener (#300) didn't really have anything that stood out and needed a lot of improvement. Said song was ideal for F & TV. Song is Plenty of Time on my page. Thanks!

All I can say is that's a really nice song with great vocals. You have talent as a songwriter. It was very heartfelt, I enjoyed it.

Definitely (to me at least) the most important thing is the matching of the song to the listing criteria. There's been a few posts where the songwriter got all 10's across the board but the song was returned. As a song everything was great but it wasn't what the listing was looking for. If the song is targeted well for the listing, then for most listings I think that 7's 8's and maybe a smattering of 9's is a very good range to be in.

Well, I really appreciate it, but it was a co-write, so I can't take all of the credit. She doesn't have TAXI, otherwise she would be on here. We wrote it for my friend's (her brother's) wedding, which is Thursday. StudioPros is producing it right now! Should have the final in a few weeks. Thanks again! Hoping for a Film or TV placement. I don't think it has major label potential, but you never know!

Great advice as always Dave!
