Brooding Theme Return as well

Just like John Clavin in a similar post, I got a return on the "Brooding, Dark, Rock Instrumentals". This listing referenced Black Sabbath, and thought in my biased opinion that I was pretty close. The reason for the return was "music". Not sure what that means, maybe a call to TAXI might help. It's called "Dark Lair" on my Taxi music page:

Hey Jeff,
I feel your pain on the "music" checkbox. I had a bunch of returns yesterday with that being the only reason. I know that sometimes on the Y/N listings, the listing party themselves will screen the music, which is why no critique is provided. Don't know if that's the case on this one or not. I like to think that's the case on the Y/N listings when I get returns, helps soften the blow.
I listened to your track. Sounds good man. If I had to make a guess as to why it was returned, the only thing I can think of would be that maybe it's not brooding enough? You have a lot of movement going on in the cue, particularly starting at around the 0:38 mark. Just my $0.02.
I'd be pitching that cue around to libraries, etc.. as I think you should be able to find a home for it somewhere.

Jeff,
The track sounds good.
I liked the "old" system better where the screener did not check the dreaded "music" box on the new "short form"
What in the world does "music" mean. Is it the composition, the mix, no melody or too much melody. We have to do a lot of second guessing with little information.
I'm with Barry, this track will easily find a home.
Sometimes a really good track just doesn't fit in with the vision of the listing. ( or the screener's vision)
I try to take a step back and question: if I didn't produce the track for the listing, would the track have ever been produced? There is a a lot to be said for going for the deadline, even if there is no immediate result from the listing.
I also suspect that if the end user likes what they get from TAXI this go around, there is a good chance they'll be back---so, keep up the "brooding"
Chuck

Thanks, guys, for the feedback. I would have never produced a track like that hadn't this listing shown up, that's really cool. Sounds like I'm on the right track.
