I did some recordings yesturday night for the listing # Y130205IN - New Age Pianist

I first entered with older recordings but now I felt I needed to send the new material. So I replaced 2 of the files :)

Here my entries for this listing from my colormusic series ( music played to colors )

Birds ( light blue ) - https://soundcloud.com/pianist-ch/birds ... ith-jarett
Waves ( Yellow ) - https://soundcloud.com/pianist-ch/waves

I don't know if this is on target for the listing but it is exactly on target for my colormusic. Played those 2 songs first time on my concert in the big church 2 weeks ago. So it was worth to record them now.

Love the pieces :) beautiful and very relaxing...
Could you possibly please paste a copy of the listing up on here so that I can see how it relates to it ? As I deleted my copy from my email :)

Hi Amanda,

thanks for the nice feedback. :-)

Here is the entire listing :
NEW AGE SOLO PIANO ARTISTS are needed by a well-respected Independent New Age Label looking to add new artists to its impressive roster. They're seeking artists in the stylistic range of Michelle McLaughlin, Philip Wesley, Jennifer Thomas, etc. Pieces can be a bit simplistic as long as your piano arrangements have a sophisticated, dreamy and calming feel.Ê ROMANTIC material that evokes strong emotions will help you STAND OUT. They've asked for authentic SOLO PIANO INSTRUMENTALS ONLY please. DOWN-to-MIDTEMPO pieces will work best. Please update your BIO with information about touring, fan-base, critical success, Youtube view, etc. Please submit two to three instrumentals online or per CD, include lyrics/photo and bio. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Tuesday, February 5, 2013. TAXI #Y130205IN

Oh yeah - I think you've got a real great shot at this. Your pieces/playing seem spot on for the genre and I think the label would benefit from having you on their team.

BTW, I also love the concept of your "colormusic" series!

Best of luck to you on this. Sincerely,

Rich

Hey Rich,

thanks for the encouraging feedback. :-) Maybe you are right and I can a least get a forward. I also think that the colormusic would fit great into any kind of New Age setting or label, but of course this is not my desicion. :-)

I lately got 3 returns on the cocktail bar and lounge piano listing. I was very suprised since I have been playing many years as a bar pianist also in many high class hotels and I thought I really know that genre. So you can not always be sure - I guess it depends a bit on the mood of the listener.

Best
