Generally I just accept my critique and move on...but sorry folks I can't move past this one. Can anyone explain to me how my track "The Best Ever" meets this critique:

"I like the energy of the instrumental however stylistically we're not looking for rock guitar elements. Some of the instrumentation felt synthetic and in need of revision. Focus on updated, contemporary sounds."

Here's a tip for Taxi then..when you use the word Pop perhaps you should state which Pop instruments they are NOT looking for? Last time I checked guitars were there at the birth of pop music. On top of that I'm watching Taxi TV and I've already heard two tracks with guitar on it? They also used the word HYBRID. And how is this not contmeporary? Please enlighten me because I'm listening to a forward right now that sounds like it could have been on Dance Mix '94. Taio Cruz could release a single tomorrow that sounds like my track and it would be a smash, so how is this not contemporary? Also I'm getting sick of hearing "too synthetic" for an electronic listing. Synthesizers = synthetic. If its something else you're trying to describe then perhaps you should expand your vocabulary.

Ps. I also submitted the track "The Feeling" and it was told it didn't fit the dance pop euro style..how is that pre-chorus build and chorus anything but euro?? Supersaw!!

Bummer. Hard to say! I thought they were darn close IMHO. That's why I stayed away from this listing... To my ears, the ones that got forwards (from last night's Taxi TV) sounded like they were done by big time studios.
