Songs should be well-crafted from start to finish, with memorable hooks in all sections, inviting melodies, and a great chorus that makes them beg you to cut your song are the order of the day for this pitch. Stripped-down acoustic demos are okay for this pitch if your song is really, really strong. There's obviously a typo (or two?) in the above listing, but which? Is it a new guy artist willing to listen to female vocals if the songs could work from a MALE perspective? Or is it a new GIRL artist working on HER debut willing to listen to male vocals that work from a female perspective...

Not that I'm gonna submit... just curious.

I'm guessing it should read, "...could work [when sung] from a male perspective.", my brackets.
