Working on Hawaiian instro for UPLIFTING HAWAIIAN and/or CARRIBEAN INSTRUMENTAL CUES. Looking to get some feedback / suggestions on the track and opinions on whether it is in the ballgame of being a forward??
Track is called "Ke aloha", can be heard here: http://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home.p ... t=pgbanker
UPLIFTING HAWAIIAN and/or CARRIBEAN INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Production Company for a popular TV Game Show on a Major TV Network. Please submit original, well-performed Cues in All-Tempos that have a true Island spirit, with instrumentation that‟s typically found in Island-based music – (Slack-key Guitar, Ukulele, Footed Drum, Steel Drum, Nose Flute, Pate, Tremoloa, etc., etc., etc.) Anything that sounds stiff, MIDI-driven, or synthetic won‟t work for this pitch. They can use anything from a solo instrument, up to larger band-size ensembles. Go for short, or even no intro, and layer instruments in and out as your Cue progresses to keep it interesting and not too linear and repetitive. Easy edit points and Non-faded endings will work best for this pitch. All submissions should be at least 2 minutes in length. Broadcast Quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). They offer an Exclusive buyout with a flat fee of $300 - $450, for a 1 year usage. You must own or control the Master and Copyright to pitch for this opportunity. Please submit one to three Instrumental Cues online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis by a TAXI screener handpicked by the Company - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59PM (PDT), on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
Thanks!
