On S160814HI, any clues regarding genre or style for the upbeat horn trios or quartets?

I emailed the head screener the other day, will post the response.

A traditional horn trio is french horn, violin and piano... I asked if this is what the customer asked for, or if they want three or four brass/wind instruments playing in a trio quartet fashion.

Received an email today on this listing.

"I checked into that listing, and the client is looking for the orchestration to be three or four horns - no other supporting instrumentation.

Very unusual, but could be fun. Note also that they are looking for up-tempo and spirited, so it will be a challenge to produce something that has an upbeat feel without being too busy to sit under dialog. (And if the horns will be programmed remember that real players will need substantial breath pauses between phrases, not just a quick gasp, when there's that much energy in the piece.)"

So, three or four horns of some kind are in order. Most likely they want brass, but I'm going to give it a shot with a saxophone trio. :)

Good luck!

UP-TEMPO, SPIRITED HORN TRIO and/or QUARTET INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a really large media company for placements in several projects, including hit cable TV shows, other shows on their own network, and online media.
The Royal Entry, also known by various names, including Triumphal Entry, Joyous Entry, embraced the ceremonial and festivities accompanying a formal entry by a ruler or his representative into a city in the Middle Ages and Early Modern Period in Europe.[1]

Here are some ideas that might be in line with what they are looking for. Purely a guess on my part. And yes, 3:00-3:30 is a long time for this sort of original music. :)

Ok Paulie, Tower of Power +

But for
several projects, including hit cable TV shows, other shows on their own network, and online media.
Unless those cable shows are public television, British comedies, or cartoons, I'm not sure they would be interested in those other styles, unless of course there might be some animal shows.
