ARRGH, I hate when I screw up!

I just accidentally submitted the wrong song to a listing. Accidentally checked the box for the one above the song I intended. I don't mind the $5 so much, but the screener is going to think I've lost it submitting a jazz piece to a somber piano listing.
Ah well...

Hah Loren! You are in good company!
I worked hard on a "Pink Panther" style piece for a Spy Show listing and was waiting for the "Glowing" review...
Did I submit to that listing? Not a chance...
Submitted it to a Happy Pop listing by mistake which left the screener scratching their head...
Still managed to eak out a nice review from a "Not the Right Style" response...
I do much better when my collaborators do the submitting!!!

Lol Cass! Well I don't feel so bad now.

I'll let you know what the screener says!

I did the same thing last month and called Taxi the morning after the listing closed. They opened the listing up long enough for me to re submit and credited me for the one I screwed up. Might be worth a shot!

Unless you're past the expiration of the listing's deadline, I think you can call Taxi and get your error corrected.
Can't hurt to try.

Good to know I'm not the only one!

I sent them an email about it, though not because I want a refund (my mistake, after all!), but just to see if they could let the screener know I goofed (though he/she will likely figure it out!).
I did get time to immediately submit the right track before the listing closed, so I'm good that way. Moral: Always check the boxes you checked!

Thanks, Peter. I had time to resubmit the right track, so it's all good. Ah well, live and learn!

Loren,
I just submitted an instrumental Xmas piece to a listing requiring male and female vocals. It happens.

It sure does, Henrietta! Taxi was actually very good about it, and they pulled the song from the listing so I wouldn't make a fool of myself to the screener lol.

I once mistakenly submitted a ghost-hunting cue to a listing looking for hip hop. I didn't realize what I had done until I got the return. I think the screener was a bit mystified. Or maybe she/he just groaned and said, 'not that Hummingbird
again!"
