I've been under the misconception that I could submit a song in an unfinished version and after the listing has closed I could go back and edit the song and they would listen to the edited version. WRONG. I recently did that, uploaded a 30" version of a song that was supposed to be 2 minutes. The very next morning I uploaded the 2 minute version but I got a return saying everything is great but it needs to be a minute and a half longer. Aarrgh. Lesson learned. But maybe ya'll already knew that.

Depends on how quickly the screener gets to it... I'm still waiting about a month to hear back on some cues, but my children's song got returned fairly quickly

Look in the pending submissions - if it's still pending, you may have a good chance at updating the track
