DILEMMA! Sci-Fi Lab Style vs Sci-Fi Investigative Tension

Hi Pandemic Instrumental Writers!
These two listings coming up this week SEEM very similar. TRICKY to pick which one to submit to for some of my stuff. I'm wondering if I should submit to both of the listings the ones I have that have pulsing and arpeggiated basses. There is SOME of that in both listings references, but more of it in the Lab Style.
Here are the main descriptions of the listings:
Lots of Sci-Fi, Lab-Style TENSION INSTRUMENTALS and/or INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a European Music Library that's looking for a quite a bit of music in this style! We would guesstimate that they'll want to sign at least 10 Instrumentals in this style!
Lots of SCI-FI INVESTIGATIVE TENSION INSTRUMENTALS AND/OR INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed for “pandemic-related projects” by a successful Music Library with tons of AWESOME placements.
Anyone else having a dilemma sorting out what to send to these??
Susan

Listening to the references, it appears that the lab ones err more on the pulsing side. Yet, there seems to be a very fine line between the two, as you already noticed, Susan

...yes, therefore what do you do?

Hi Susan, I'm also having a hard time distinguishing the two. The references should serve as a guide but after listening to them, I can't identify a unique motif that would allow me to say, oh, that's definitely Sci-Fi Lab Tension and not a Sci-Fi Investigation Tension.
I submitted to a very similar listing S200523SF also for Sci-Fi Lab Tension with the same references and was hoping to get the feedback earlier so I could prepare for S200623CD but I still haven't gotten the critiques for the first listing.

Right! Me too.
This is like an intelligence test.

One way would be to submit all you have to both. But... I don't know.

Well, at the end of the day I would submit to both, in order to maximise my chances.
However, I think the lab stuff might not necessarily have a sub drone, which instead seems to appear 99% of the time in investigative cues.

I hear a nice low string -cello-like like sound in Dark Spy but honestly dont hear a drone at all in the other two. But, I guess in general I.T. is more "orchestral" and richer, from the ones I've heard.

Good point about the investigative stuff being richer, and featuring some orchestral elements, particularly strings, I agree with that

Good call Susan.
Somehow I feel it' all subjective to what the clients want or think they want

since I observe quite a variety of sounds and textures in the different TV shows that use these instrumentals/cues. Meanwhile, we rely on the tips we get from our peers and listeners like 409 and 419.
