I really enjoyed writing for that listing. I took more or less the same approach. Eerie Synths with solo violin. I also had solo contrabassoon. I added some eerie halloween sounds too, I put those low in the mix. There were no references so that always makes it a littler trickier. I'm looking forward to listening to the forwards on this one in the forward blog.

It will be interesting to see which submissions get a forward. I only submitted one piece of music for this listing. It was in the kitschy spooky range.

Well I got a return on this one. Good feedback though, they said nice melodies just too slow on the developmental arc.

Hi Skylar,

Listening now, nice track! I don’t know, I love the instrumentation and build. Also the creative use of slight dissonance. Really moves along nicely, and aptly titled. Sounds like I would expect an evening with ghosts to sound like! I would definitely resubmit this to another listing opportunity if one comes up.
