TAXI # S220512SC SOUND DESIGN-Driven, SCI-FI-Style INSTRUMENTAL CUES

Greetings, composers!
I have two questions about a current listing: TAXI # S220512SC SOUND DESIGN-Driven, SCI-FI-Style INSTRUMENTAL CUES
1. The brief calls for sound design. Does this mean we should develop a sound design bed over which an editor might spot impact sounds? Or should we include impacts sounds? I watched the Live video addressing this, but am still a little unclear.
2. I love working in Omnisphere and will sometimes use patches from 3rd party sound designers. I perform the parts - and use modulation and tweaking; is this "original" enough for the brief? Or must I use strictly my own samples. I would like to use a little of both, but am not sure if this would be considered original.
Thanks so much for your thoughts.
Happy composing!
