S220719HB "Happy Birthday"

Do you think this is referring to the common "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear their_name, happy birthday to you" we all sing? I thought that was copyrighted and is the reason employees no longer sing that at restaurants.

Otherwise, wouldn't request say they're looking at birthday celebration songs, right? Are we really allowed to submit new renditions of a copyrighted piece of music? Or is it in pubic domain now?
Thanks,

OK, Never mind. I found https://www.cbsnews.com/news/happy-birt ... ic-domain/ which states it's been public domain since June 2016. Full speed ahead...

Seemingly simple song, but it's a bit tricky.
3/4 timing and the melody/vocals start on the 3rd beat.
Just a little tip😉
