Getting a return but they want you to slightly improve it

I recently got a return, but they said there is a good chance a pass will make it as a forward. But how do I send in another pass??
The return was:
"What I like most about this song
I like the acoustic guitar and slide work. I like the hard-hitting beat and the slow underscore.
I think you could improve this song by
I feel like this could use just a bit more ear candy or secondary melodic elements just to help give this more pop.
I returned or forwarded this song because
Another pass will likely make this one a solid option."
-> I definitely agree on all points they wrote.
So I improved it as wished, but where do I send it in again now?

Sadly, you don't.
Not yet anyway.
If/when there's another listing for something more or less identical that's the time to submit, but making sure it fits THAT particular listing requirements.
Wow, that is quite weird then haha.
I mean it tells me there wasn't much left to make it a forward, but somehow at the same time it is kind of a "vergebene Liebesmühe" (a German phrase for wasted love or work haha), since I can't really utilize the song so much again now^^
The chance is gone and there is not another, despite being a member and paying 5 bucks for the listing.
Without whining too much, I'm just wondering and planning ahead of the future. Not butthurt or anything hehe.
But yeah I reckon I can use it in my portfolio, learnt something out of it, and potentially can use it modified for another listing. True.
I see it positive then. Would have been just cool to be able to funnel my energy and effort put into the modified version into something that bares fruits.^^
Kind regards and thanks for the reply mate

You have to look for other opportunities for the track, new listings and/or pitch on your own to libraries. Did you create the track specifically for the listing? If you did, you now have a solid track that you might not have ever made if not for the listing.
Taxi can't have folks re-submit with changes on returns. Think about it. There would be an endless cycle of submissions and re-submissions with a massive workload. Five bucks is a pretty small fee which hasn't increased in decades. And often, the client's time-frame is limited.
Best,

Casey

What the others have said ^^^
The way I see it, for $5 the screener not only evaluates your track, but may offer some encouragement and some actionable advice on how to make the track better/more licensable. That's a great deal.
