Listings Resubmissions; Possible?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you TAXI veterans out there have any comments on a Listings logistical thing I was wondering about:Let's say you're submitting to a listing (not Dispatch), way ahead of the timeline, say, 3 weeks prior to due date. Do screeners actively screen songs that early on, or do they start screening on the closing day of the listing? For example, if you submitted a song, and in the return they suggest making a small change (like tempo, different instrument), can you resubmit within the timeline? Has that ever happened, or is it "submit and that's it"?Thanks.

The screening process does not begin until after the deadline for the listing has passed. If you submit early and then make a change to your song, you can re-upload your track and the new version will be the one that gets listened to IF you do it before the deadline. If you do that after the deadline, it's still possible that the screener will hear the new version, but there is no guarantee that will be the case. And if you get a return with suggested changes, you will not have a chance to re-submit that song for the listing, it's "submit and that's it."- Big Blue

Then, to follow up with this question, can you get a custom critique back within the timeframe of the listing, so you can make the proper adjustments in hopes to understand further on what they're looking for?

I haven't done the custom critique so I'm not 100% sure about the turnaround time on those. I'll have to leave that question for someone else.- Big Blue

I've had customs come back in less than a week, and sometimes closer to 2 weeks. Fastest was 3 days.I'm sure if you called up and said "pretty please" (as Hummingbird mentioned in a similar post), you might see some fast love that way.

I've had very fast turn around time on custom crits.. Sometimes as little as 2 business days. It often depends on which screener is best suited to the genre and their availability. I don't think it's ever taken more that a week for me yet.And I might add. The custom critiques have been fantastic! A lot of time, energy, and detail goes into them. Most important-- send a list of your main questions when you submit. Casey
