There's an ebb and flow to the instrumental listings and it's unpredictable. They'll be back.

KelI can always see holes in my catalog that I need to fill and I always need to go back to older tracks once I've learned a new engineering trick. Not only that but now is the time to write something that may not be what I would call "commercial" but is something I've wanted to put together all the same. Just for me ya know? The biggest problem with slim listings is the whole working towards deadlines/goals thing. This sort of makes me a bit direction-less and I have to admit that most of my "stretching" has come from trying for some listings that out side of my comfort zone. I think there is still a lot of work to be done and I'd bet the same is true for you.One thing I've been thinking of doing, is running my own short tv music survey. Ya know, pick out say 10 or 12 channels and watch/listen for 1 hour and write down what I hear for the hour as a way to know what sort of music I really should to be writing.Good Luck!Keith
