Question about listings and screeners

Hi all,I have a specific question about how the screening process works at TAXI. Here's the scenario - there are two listings in the "Instrumentals" category, and my submissions apply to both, and so I feel like I should submit to both. Does the SAME screener review my submissions for both listings, or do DIFFERENT screeners work separately per listing? I'm concerned that if the SAME screener is doing the screening for two independent listings that the screener may develop a biased unequal recommendation per listing? Does that make sense? Obviously, I understand the submissions have to be STELLAR, but at the same time, I'm wondering about the equality of one screener reviewing for different listings. Thanks!!

The screeners are bound by the listings. From what I know about TAXI's screening process, if the same screener was screening for both listings and they got the same piece for both, they'd have to treat it as it relates to the listing, basically as if it's the first time they heard the piece.Remember, the most amazing piece of music in the world will get rejected if it's not right for the listing. The screeners are screening on a case by case basis. This was based on my knowledge of TAXI's screening process, which comes from the forum, other members that have witnessed it firsthand and writings from ML himself.HTH,Mazz

It depends on listing deadline and screener availability. It also depends on the number of submissions they get which determines how many screeners will be needed to cover all the submissions for a given listing. Finally it depends on stylistic considerations...the more "exotic" the style of music the fewer screeners they will have that are specialists in that style. On top of that everything that mazz mentioned applies as well...
