No samples from a synth etc...?

Ok, any input is appreciated on the electronica listing due on July 8th. When the listing says: "They do welcome some type of human vocal element in the composition, whether it be a phrase, hook, chorus or full lyric. They want original recordings from the composer, no samples from a synth or third party." does that mean they don't favor loop libraries or sampling of any kind? I do use samples (most people do) but I don't use 3rd party loops, just not my thing...Thoughts?Thanks,Garrett

I interpreted it as referring to vocals. I don't think they want vocal samples from a library. There are sample libraries out there that actually have phrases and words and they obviously don't want a sample in their music that everyone else has access to. I think they're suggesting a recording of either the composer or a session singer would be acceptable.I would imagine that instrument and synth samples and 3rd party loops would be fine because that's the basis of so much electronica music it would be hard to limit that. I use 3rd party loops but I try to disguise and alter them as much as I can.Just my interpretation.Mazz
