I am new. I've been reading this forum until my vision is blurred. I have a question. I've done searches in several places, and see alot of talk about it, but I'm not quite getting a clear picture. What exactly (in detail) is the difference between a song pitch, and an artist pitch? - Mark.

Not sure if someone has already answered this however a "song pitch" is when you pitch a song to a listing for another artist to sing/cut and an "artist pitch" is when you pitch yourself usually to a record label as an artist. ie if you yourself are singer and are looking for a record deal. e

Thank you. That certainly clears it up. Now, How do you tell if a listing is looking for a "song picth" or an "artist pitch"?

Typically the listing will indiicate. "songs" vs "artist".Read through the listings and you'll see. The more you review the listings the easier it will be to identify..Ed
