I'd bet a dollar to a donut it'd get a forward... www.DaveWaltonMusic.com/PrivateArea/MrR ... tempo.movI record the end of that show every week... the piano player (Johnny Costa, Rest In Peace) is pretty awesome.

I LOVED your pieces! If you want some input (too late, but to another listing perhaps) you should make it groovier in the left hand, have a beat, think like a drummer/bassist, how do they play? Now you just play some chords here and there and leave it all to the right hand. Think the pieces are very good otherwise, and I love your right hand playing!

Bob,I went 1 for 4 on this listing. A similar listing ran about 6 months ago to the same company where I went 2 for 3. But the screener this time only sent 1 of the 2 that got forwarded last time.I thought your songs were very good. But I think Alex may have been right about the left hand movement. I think that was the problem with one of mine too which I have included below. On the ones that did not get forwarded the only checked box was material not compelling/distinctive enough.Forwarded this time and last time - Nice Ride - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ueReturned this time and forwarded last time - Finger Dance - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... ueReturned this time and last last time - Not enough left hand movement? - Happy Keys - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true

I had a few forwarded to the listing 6 months ago that Kurt referred to. The one that was signed was a stride tune. I had several forwarded this time and they were quite varied. It's always hard to know whether the company has something very specific in mind. Solo Fats Waller and solo Bill Evans and solo McCoy all sound very different even though they all played "uptempo solo piano jazz".

Hi Alex, Kurt, & Ceedub,First congrats on the current and past forwards and deals on this listing.Second, thanks for posting your tunes, they are wonderful, even the ones that didn't make it.Alex, love the energy and groove on 'perhaps". Some sweet playing... On your comments, It's never to late for help, you are correct, more left hand( groove), what's funny is I had a third tune I was thinking of doing that was really heavy in groove , and I decided against it because I thought it was too busy, and too bluesy and went more melody line and sparse comping. Ceedub stated perfectly, solo fats, evans, mccoy, which one.....Kurt,there are some gorgeous changes and runs, in your tunes, great playing man!!!Thanks for your comments, I will put them to good use....Bob
