I'm hoping my melancholy fingerstyle acoustic songs have a shot at this listing. If any of these make it through it'll be party time at my house!In Only We Could - Solo NEW!Our Love, The Way It Is IIThe Answer - Solo NEW!I needed to create new acoustic solos for two of these songs anyway, so my time isn't wasted. I'm just concerned about my precious 15 bucks! <LOL> Oh well, a fool and his money are soon parted. My songs aren't totally in line with some of these important requirements in the listing:"no bluegrass, folk or country" - I might be a bit folksy in some of my patterns. "comfortable mid tempo "walking" approach" - I wasn't sure what that meant in this context so I decided to punt!"inspiring, calming, uplifting and introspective" - Maybe - just maybe - I covered this requirement. This is what I'm banking on. <Allen says, with fingers crossed> "nothing too busy, dark or serious" - Oh shucks! I'm really into broody stuff. The songs I submitted are as happy & bouncy as I get. And I'm worried that my style is too busy for this listing. I like "busy". "recordings need to be Broadcast Quality" - Believe it or not I may have accomplished this. For some reason the latest tracks I have uploaded sound really poor after the Taxi Chipmunks down-sample them for streaming. I wonder what's up with that. Anyway, if you care to listen, trust me: my tracks don't really sound like someone is gargling. I guess all I'm saying is I must be a gambling man after all. I submitted the songs & closed my eyes for a short, heart-felt prayer. A traditional acoustic tone with very little affected tone (no washed out reverb/effects — keep it simple and bright) will be what's required for this one. All tempos will be considered, but keep in mind that a comfortable mid tempo "walking" approach might fit this listing most accurately. The overall tone should be inspiring, calming, uplifting and introspective nothing too busy, dark or serious for this one. Solid performances are a must and recordings need to be Broadcast Quality (great home recordings should be fine). They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal — you keep your original copyrights. Allen,The good:Well done/great performancea little progressive/light classical/new age feelcalming/introspectiveFeels like I am at a concert center stage and your on the stagesitting in a chair with mics placed all around the guitar..... brings me to the bad which isn't bad at all but the uptempo, "walking" feel is where it has its problem.......you have different movements in all three songs that when there is a feel of movement it does not last long as you are shifting the mood around with your playing style....its great but it may falter if they want that "walking" feel through the whole song...Regards,Dick

I did position a couple of mics around and I did use a convolution reverb that emulated a real space. the only thing missing was, er, uh, reality, I guess. Mic 1: Rode NT3 medium diaphragm hypercardiod condenser pointed 6 inches from the 12th fret. Mic 2: Gauge ECM-87 large diaphragm cardiod condenser placed 8" from the bridge.I hope you liked your front virtual row seat. LOLThanks,Allen

Allen,I think these are all very good. My only concerns would be the same as the ones you already mentioned here. But I still think you have a very good shot with all of these. I tried pulling something together on this listing but never got it where it needed to be. You on the other hand did a very good job.Good Luck,Kurt
