ACTION/ADVENTURE/HIGH OCTANE - My Take

Here's my take(s) for this listing.ACTION/ADVENTURE/HIGH OCTANE INSTRUMENTALS are needed by a UK-based Production Music Library for Film/TV placement opportunities. They need really high energy tracks (no vocals) for car chase scenes, sports highlights, high suspense action/thrill footage, etc. Current sounding styles would be the best choice here: Rock/Electronica/Hard Rock/etc. A blend of orchestral instrumentation with the mentioned stylistic approaches might also be a great direction to take. They'll be looking for tracks that don't sound overly synth generated - authentic, pulsing and exciting! Your track should be within 1:00-3:00 and they'll mostly want to hear mid to uptempo tracks. They offer non-exclusive, 50/50 deals. Broadcast quality needed (great sounding home recordings are OK). Electronic World (Short Version) -

Hey Brad,All three tracks sound possible candidates but IMHO I think they are a little on the slow side.....Of course just my opinion and probably by now it's too late to do anything anyway.....but I'd give them a shot anyway.BTW Thanks for the reminder I have 3 tracks I wanted to submit for this and nearly forgot.....Hope you get a forward....hope we both do..Good luckDerek

I think you have a good blend of electronica, and rock as the listing says...and I think that the energy level could be a bit higher, faster harder...good luck to you.

Hey audiogeek!Tough call on some of 'em. I think personally, "Rounded" stands the best chance outta' the 3. I think ya' had the right vibe/energy in the beginning with "Electronic World", then ya' lost it when you went "all percussion", towards the end. Fast Fuzz may not be FAST enough. These are just my opinions, so take 'em with a grain!I-468

Thanks for the comments, Ibanez. I see what you mean about Electronic World. It's an edited version of a longer song, which was a bit over 3 minutes. I think, now, that I should have found some other way to edit it... oh well, live and learn.
