Hey All,New Listing INDIE POP/ALT ROCK SONGS are needed by a legendary Music Producer (over 100 Gold and Platinum records to his credit). He's producing a new female artist and is looking for songs that have undeniable hooks and are clearly hit single material. He gave the specific references of "Misery Business" by Paramore, "My Moon, My Man" by Feist and "Decimate" by David Ford. The commonality in all of these is that they're a bit left of center with amazing hooks! Female vocals are preferable, but not necessary. Lyric content is open, but the references are clearly a bit lighter in nature. As usual, no profanity or uncleared samples. For this listing, you MUST attach your lyrics to your submission so please don't forget! Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyric sheets. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received by May 20, 2008. TAXI #S080520IPThis one boggles me a tad... I took a listen to the referenced tracks (well I know the paramore track but not the two others) and I have to say the reference to the Paramore song throws it way out the window... The other two tracks are more chilled out songs, the paramore is more like punk rock? What kind of tracks do you think they're after?Take CareB

My song for this fits in with the Paramore cut... the others I'm not even close..... got no insights here though, it's like they need a whole album so they want a range maybe? Geo

Thanks, here's one of my subs that's up in Peer to Peer...Guitar work is a little rough, were going to redo it on Monday and swap it out if it hasn't been critiqued....Might be too heavy lyrically, the were looking lighter references but who knows....Good luck to you, Geohttp://taxi.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=peer&action=display&thread=7639
