any one got an example or two of a LIGHT/COMEDIC instrumental that is also HIGH ENERGY and EXCITINGI'm having difficulty getting my brain around that CONTEMPORARY LIGHT/COMEDIC INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an East Coast Music Library who provides music for popular ad campaigns and various Film/TV projects. They need high quality, well produced :30 and :60 segments for their premium library. Instrumentation and style is open but the sound should be high energy and exciting

I was just going over that listing myself. Yeah, it is confusing...not the first time that's happened though...I've got some things that are LIGHT AND COMEDIC, but they lose their steam when it comes to High Energy/Exciting...they're more laid back.....and just for my own edification, what would make it "contemporary"? That's one that I can't seem to grasp...especially with no "a la" to guide me...HarryOur YouTube Video:

Reminds me of the David Grey listing that wanted simple yet lush (huh?) acoustic guitar instrumentals......no one could find any of his songs that actually had a primary acoustic guitar. This one's a real head scratcher too. The only thing I can think of is RoadRunner stuff (from the cartoon) and that isn't right. Right?

See, and I wanted to submit this one for that listing, but it's 2:03 in length and I seriously doubt the library wants to have to edit it down themselves. But I kinda think this fits "light"...yep, "comedic"...maybe, "high energy" and "exciting"...definitely. But the length is going to kill it's chances, won't it?Ted"Rear-View Mirror"

http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=1Ted, this doesn't seem particularly high energy at the beginning. It has a nice light feel though. You will need to edit it down - pick a :60 segement to submit.

Hey Ted,Yeah, you'd need to edit it down, plus, it doesn't seem to have the comedy aspect. Maybe a funny sound effect here and there?Otherwise, a really nice instrumental that should work for fine for another listing!Harry

I had this listing on my "to do" sheet, but as I studied it further, I felt the description is too vague.Originally I was thinking something along "Desperate Housewives" but thats not exactly high energy. So, I passed...Good luck to those who enter.
