Listing S080411CI:NEW LISTING -- CONTEMPORARY LIGHT/COMEDIC INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an East Coast Music Library who provides music for popular ad campaigns and various Film/TV projects. They need high quality, well produced :30 and :60 segments for their premium library. Instrumentation and style is open but the sound should be high energy and exciting. Broadcast quality is definitely needed here. Please submit 2-3 segments online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received by Apr. 11, 2008.I have a few questions if folks don't mind fielding them that'd be great:1) Does 30 sec mean 30sec, or is 31.2 sec OK. I have a single verse of a tune that's 31.2 sec -- should I time stretch it into 30secs?2) Are these types of listings wanting 30sec 'chunks' common? I assume that these lenghts satisfy a specific programming need.3) Is it best to submit varying length pieces, (i.e. some 30 some 1min).4) Do folks ever submit a 30 sec and a 1min version of the same track, or is that a waste of time/effort.Thanks in advance!BTW: this is the one piece so far that I have for this listing. By adding a short 1 bar drum intro and shortening the ending I can get a 31.2 sec section, basically 1 verse, that should time stretch easily w/o any artifacts.Trash Talkin'http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueFor those of you running WMP that hit the 'file could not be played' issue, here's a SoundClick link: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ...
