Hello, This is my second post. I would like your opinions how to make this song a FORWARD. I have submitted 20+ songs with 3 forwards to date.I am new to Taxi as well as digital recording. My current system which I have had for 5 months is as follows:Sonica dual core 2mb computerCubase 4Fireface 800 interfaceToontracks EZ Drummer w/Latin, Vintage and NashvilleI bounce to a Tascam CD-RW750 then convert to MP3 with Cakewalk Pyro 2004Using Windows XP I usually add audio tracks to everything. I'm still a newbie at MIDI.I am going to submit several songs, but I think this is a representative sample.Am I off base for the listing? Should I put in a bridge for a one minute piece? Is this up to snuff by an engineer's standard?I really would like some input.Here is my Myspace address. Hi. Good sounding stuff, good guitar playing, nice drum part!IMO, the only thing that might limit this piece is the synth part emulating the European style siren. I bet a music supervisor or editor might get some flack from the sound effects folks if they put this piece in a scene that takes place in LA or NY or Miami.Others with more placements on shows that use this kind of stuff might have more to say but that would be my only question.
