taxi to provide chart on submiss vs. forwards

I think a great service that Taxi could provide for all members is an online tracking system that tracks how many submissions you have made (and the cost of each of those and the total you have spent on submissions) vs. how many have been forwarded. This would be specific to every member. Sonicbids offers a new service called the EPK "hits tracker" -- it allows you to see how many people have viewed your EPK.Taxi should think about offering this as a service to its members -- at least the ones that have a Broadjam account. It would be easy to do and would provide a great way for users to "track" how much they have spent and what their "batting average" is, so to speak.

What an awesome idea, thanks for starting it, maybe some of you heavy weights will pitch in too except i'm quite embarrassed to show you how badly I interpret the listings67 submissions4 forwards1 pending0 deals YET, but expecting 100's soon. steveI do wish Broadjam allowed us to see how many times our songs were played, not as a result of being reviewed, or profile visits. And I'd love for Taxi to show us how many submissions each listing actually gets. You know... game stats!

Just go to your Taxi account and click on "Previous Submissions." There you'll see a chronological list of submissions and whether they were forwarded or returned.AndreAndre already mentioned that the info is all there if you use broadjam electronic submissions, which I think most people do. Does anybody still make those old burritos anymore? Casey

So what did you do to increase your forwards? Is it how you target your submissions or something else; maybe a combination of things? This is exactly why i'm determined to make it to Road Rally this year! Dave

Quote:....I just sold the first own cd (by accident!)I did an album with my girlfriend, music for kids 5-12 years old, just for fun.now just as a "shot in the blue" I put it on a website (mp3 snippets) and my girlfriend did a post in a board she frequently visits (..a board about riding/horses)...and tadaaaaa - there it is, our first sold cd!I also might add that it brought 15 times more money than the cds I produced and were sold through labels... so that's defenitly something to think about. Here's to a million more accidents like that

Here is a feature I would like to see. When viewing the listings, I would love a little icon telling me if i had submitted to that song already. Sometimes I scan the listings when I am not ready to submit. Then I come back to it and I have to cross reference with previous submissions. Just a little thing. Quote:And I thought my songs were brilliant. 0-7 Remember the two most repeated facts here on the forum:1. Someone passed on the Beatles!2. A brilliant song will be returned if it is not on target for the listing!Don't let it get you down.

Oh. Ok, I guess I mis-interpreted what you were saying. Thanks for the explanation. Still, I'm not seeing how even submitting "outside the box" is "uncool". Aren't we paying for the priviledge?Sorry, I don't mean to grill you over an offhand statement, it's just that the way it was worded made it sound as though it's some unwritten law that everybody's aware of - and since I'd never heard of it, it kind of gave me a start.
