Hi folks, concerning this listing:****POP SONGS & INSTRUMENTALS a la Gwen Stefani, Nick Lachey, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Fergie, Backstreet Boys, etc. are wanted by a West Coast Music Library/Publisher that has had recent placements on HBO, Disney TV + numerous Network and cable TV shows. They offer a 3-5 year exclusive deal with a reversion clause. The company's owner will screen your submissions. Broadcast quality needed [excellent home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Feb. 20, 2007.TAXI # S070220PO*****...my question: WHO will screen the submission? Taxi (..and write a critique to it)? The company owner? Both of them...?or is it just a tipe-mistake?thanks,Martin

According to Mr. Spock, logically, the company owner will "screen" all the submissions and take what he likes. TAXI will screen the submissions with him, and will critique them, whether forward or return...I guess the company owner will say "hmmm I like that....I'm going to forward it to me....note to self..."Knyuk Knyuk KnyukArkJack

Actually the company's owner will both screen and critique the listings. The sentence: "All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than..." is part of all "S" listings and sometimes they forget to take it out when there's a special situation like this one. More often than not, listings that will be screened by a company representative will be Yes/No only, no critiques.
