I just submitted something for a listing that wanted retrogressive BANDs not songs, I got carried away as I felt the song matched!!

Anyone know what happens, other than taxi starts thinking I'm a dork?

Sorry to the reviewer in advance !!

Duh Duh!!! : ))))

EDIT: this was the listing, sounded really cool!
RETROGRESSIVE SOUNDING GARAGE ROCK BANDS a la The Seeds, The Standells (think "Dirty Water") or the psychedelic Garage sound of 13th Floor Elevators, etc., needed by a credible and well-respected Independent Label with solid distribution nationally and internationally. They're searching for music that "sounds like it was recorded in the 1960s" and you must have "a visual appeal that is appropriate for this genre." Songs should have a raw and biting energy combined with the simple, repetitive lyric style of that era. While they're primarily looking for bands to sign to their roster, this company also does film and TV placement, so Broadcast Quality recordings are needed (excellent sounding home recordings are fine.) Please submit two to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics/photo and bio. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by a representative of the company at TAXI and must be received no later than Tuesday, May 24, 2011. TAXI #S110524GR

Hey, you've got a few weeks to start a band... Get crackin' on it!

Don't sweat it. If it gets forwarded and you end up getting contacted, congratulate yourself since that means it's great music, and simply let the listing party know you made a mistake- you are a songwriter, not a band... With any one submission of any one song by anyone, the odds of it getting that far can be somewhat long anyway... It's not like it's the end of the world or anything. :D
