I have this song :What the Devil Don't Know http://soundcloud.com/michellelockey/wh ... nt-know-ft

I am thinking its more Blues Rock, than Southern rock, but wanted feedback anyway... Listing below

A-LIST HOLLYWOOD MUSIC SUPERVISOR needs SOUTHERN ROCK SONGS for POPULAR CABLE TV SERIES. They're looking for CONTEMPORARY MID-to-UPTEMPO SONGS with MALE VOCALS a la:

"Remedy" by The Black Crowes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qD72NCJSkk

"Like I Roll" by Black Stone Cherry - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2-RkjUS4Y8

"What You Want" by Dixie Witch - http://spoti.fi/T9JPJo

If selected by the music supervisor, your song will play as "source" -- coming from an onscreen source like a jukebox, radio, etc. Great, current-sounding songs with very catchy melodies will work best. Performances must be top notch! Lyrics must be PG-rated and UNIVERSAL (avoid specific names, places, etc.) The estimated license fee is $1,000-$2,000.

Hey Shell,

I think that this could work. You have the slide guitar happening and
that bluesy southern feel. The lyrics are appropriate with sort of that
Crossroads feel. I like it.

I would definitely submit.
It has a real modern ZZ Top style mixed with New Country Rock.
The production is great.
" Remedy " is more raw and seventies sounding but I think it's still worth submitting.
Great song.

Rich.
