The only thing I have to submit to the new classical listing is this:
http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... stream=1So I did!!MazzCLASSICAL INSTRUMENTALS are wanted by a well-established Music Supervisor for a major network TV series. The plot of this series revolves around a lawyer who is forced to take care of one of New York City's wealthiest families. The instrumentation should sound very sophisticated and authentic... expensive! Tempos are open, but you might want to consider what could be playing in the background at an elite, high society cocktail party.

Hi Mazz,Very nice variation on Eric Satie, beautiful arrangement and voicings, it reminded me of ( I know I'm going to spell his name wrong) I want to say Daniel Kobiel, did a string arrangement of Satie with a tempo of 60bpm.Good luck with it..... have you submitted this to the romantic and emotional listings?Bob

The listing didn't say whether it could be covers or originals, so I'm a little confused about that.In any case, it's a very lovely arrangement of this beautiful piece. It might almost be too graceful for the cocktail party crowd, lol. "Performances should be nothing short of stunning and absolutely professional." - I think you have that licked, John

Quote:are originals not needed?I'm going on the assumption that public domain classical music (not classical era specifically but in the larger sense) is what they are looking for. I'm also assuming that they want something that's kind of well known. But since that's the only classical piece/arrangement I have and it's public domain and pretty well known, what do I know? I"m creating my own listing! Mazz

since I'm not dispatch, not gonna send anything, but I thought of Goldberg variations for this listing, arranged for whatever, you should look into it and do the same as you did with Satie.

No they didn't, sorry, they just said strings as in quartet's and chamber music as opposed to other "high end cocktail music". I wanted to make sure that the listing wasn't a typo like Classic Instrumentation- which opens many doors, but, alas classical in style.Bob
