This may be right on target for a Dispatch listing where they are open to "Flight of the Bumblebee" on three harmonicas. Mazz,Everything but the Rin Singing Bowls is from RA.I spent alot of time editing keyswitches and anti-quantizing. Alot of the more rhythmically challenging passages were entered in notation. I changed alot of velocities and timing to "humanize" .I'll keep you posted on any forward opportunity. I had fun doing this, learned a bit, and it felt good getting a little off track.I also submitted a classical guitar arrangement of a Bach Minuet, if they are looking at a more mainstream approach.Chuck

Cool. Very novel. I like it.I saw that interesting dispatch listing. I am hoping it will also show up in the next regular listings. I have a Bach piece for flute and orchestra arranged for two guitars, some Fernando Sor on ukulelee and a surf guitar version of Recuerdos I would like to try on them.

Quick update on this submission:Air to a Geisha was a return.I also submitted, as an after thought, an arrangement for two classical guitars of a Bach Minuet. That piece was forwarded. I learned alot doing the Asian treatment and will probably re- submit for a future listing.Dispatch does feel like playing the lottery. This go around I won one round.Chuck

Well, congratulations on the one forward anyway. Tokyo Bach will probably find some takers too. It is so hard to predict a forward or return. Many excellent efforts are returned. Can you post the minuet that made it? Ah, never mind, I just found it. Very nice. I didn't know that one.

Mazz, Songwriter and Jesse,Thanks for the feedback and encouragement.For both of these arrangements, I had a leadsheet with the melody and chord changes. All of the other lines I wrote in the style of Bach. I studied Bach until he was coming out of my ears as a music student, I guess some of it "took" (my music theory teacher would be proud) ChuckP.S.
