This was about a relationship built on lies,but after closer examination i can see a political side to it too.Although that was'nt my intention.The contridiction in some of the lyrics are, by the way intentional.

Hey - I like your line about "your echo comes back different." It's a cool thought.

I think I'd like it if you got into more details in this song. I feel like a lot of it is pretty general. You'd think general would be "more universal" to relate to as a listener, but usually it isn't. Painting a really descriptive story with metaphors and engaging the senses could help a lot. Especially in your verses.
