Any advice for " Your Own True Self "

Hi everyone I have been tooling around with a " Lumineers " type song. Any advice would be appreciated.
Your Own True Self
Take the road less traveled
Trade the asphalt in for gravel
Then swim against the tide
And laugh instead of cry
What ever helps
You to find
Your own true self
Take a walk along the river
And be baptized and delivered
Beneath the shady trees
On those banks, you can breathe
Then sit a spell
You might find
Your own true self
Bridge
Look into that river
There's a thousand different faces
But only one of them is you
Your a product of opinions
Since you learned to tie your laces
Never meant for someone elses shoes
Even your own lies, stick like glue...to you
When you finally climb that mountain
And you hear your echo shoutin
Knowing your own two feet
Took you to that high peak
Then all is well
When you find
Your own true self.
