I wrote this as I listened to 'A Fragile Hour' from Gary's cd called Maps). Didnt fit it into the song tightly. The music was there just as a suggestion for the lyrics.

Pearl

Where she comes from is uncharted waters
Though floating about are rumours
Her face could bring down stars from Heaven
Her body could rouse Devil from Hell

I lost myself to her in first glance
All willpower left me with dance
She set inside of me a flame
And it's anything but tame

There's no one like her, how could there be
Inside and out she's just beauty
I didn't plan on falling headlong
But now it's here, I don't mind if it's lifelong

music

There's no one like her, how could there be
Inside and out she's just beauty
I didn't plan on falling headlong
But now it's here, I don't mind if it's lifelong

Where she comes from is uncharted waters
Though floating about are rumours
Her face could bring down stars from Heaven
Her body could rouse Devil from Hell
She comes with allure pretty double wrapped
You feel your hearts been repeatedly zapped

chorus
I opened the oyster and found the pearl
Now all I've to do is catch unattainable

Interesting concept. I think when you do your edit, you should try to make the thought more fluent in your structure. It won't seem so choppy if you say it more like you would speak it. I'm left wondering "What Rumors?" and how that pertains to uncharted waters. Sometimes you need to explain and let your readers or hearers in on what's going on in between the lines. I appreciate you sharing your work.
