My Girlfriend is bi
Written by Dwayne Nurse
Thought I met my queen
The other day
Bet I was the happiest man
In the world
But after months went by
She now confessed she's bi
What a surprise
It cuts deep like a knife
My world went still,
Almost had a cardiac arrest
"chorus"
My girlfriend is bi
She is bi, bi, bi
The love of my life is
Bi, bi, bi
Yes, she's bi
Bi, bi, bi
My girlfriend is bi
Had plans to marry her
Yeah, marry her
But now I don't really know
Yeah, don't really know
I need a lady by my side
Not a girl who is bi
Only god knows
What the future holds
My world went still,
Almost had a cardiac arrest
"chorus"
My girlfriend is bi
She is bi, bi, bi
The love of my life is
Bi, bi, bi
Yes, she's bi
Bi, bi, bi
My girlfriend is bi
"bridge"
I had so believe
Ah found my queen
I'm a greedy man
When it comes to my queen
I'd share wealth and knowledge
But not my queen
"chorus'

I assume this is tongue in cheek; the lyric itself looks and reads crisply, with a sense of rhythm and fun. I think "cardiac arrest" might be tough to sing

but depends on the delivery.
The song makes the assumption that being bi means being unfaithful to your partner which I don't think is necessarily true; OTOH if you had a twist at the end realizing she might be willing to share you with her girlfriend you might joyously sing, 'my girlfriend is bi' haha
In any case it looks fun, keep it light and like to hear the music one day

I'm writing a song in response...
My girlfriend let me watch
She said watch, watch, watch

Sorry, couldn't resist!
What is your goal with a song like this? It might be fun but not very commercially viable. I can't imagine any artist singing this. If you were doing live coffee-house gigs it might be good for a laugh.
And Hummingbird is right that your lyrics make an assumption. Being bi doesn't necessarily mean being unfaithful.

Lucky you! ( just kidding).
If you want to work the theme of your girl going both ways, you may consider not being so blunt about it.
You can arrange your words and images so they say one thing but imply something else.
She loves her dresses
Is giddy for Suits that Tie
She is a tender of gender
My girl likes to buy
Bye Bye Girlfriend
Buy Buy Girlfriend
Fun idea - Good luck with it.

Didn't Don McLean already cover this one?
You know...
Bi bi Miss American pie...

Dwayne,
Thanks for posting. I think the concept is good, but only if it's being played in a funny, though not necessarily full-on novelty, sort of way. To that end, I think you need a few more humorous lines or images to really sell it. As it is, the concept feels a little under-developed. However, I still think there's potential and it's a good start.
I also think a "bi bi bi" / "bye bye bye" play-on-words (which you eschewed) is too good to not use, even if it is sorta obvious. That's a matter of personal taste though.
An example of another song that explores a similar concept - you may want to listen only AFTER you finish yours so as not to be influenced - is "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" by The Outfield.
Sincerely,
Glenn

Casey with the American Pie - double entendre! That is good.
No wonder you get so many forwards.

I think these lyrics had more contemporary promise than anyone thought in 2013. Haha. Came across this old post. Sounds like the song by Omarion is pretty close
