I like the idea of the song, Casey. I feel like the last line of the first verse isn't congruent with what's gone before, that what happened 'last night' was a sudden veer in direction. I felt like it was going to say 'I always worry and make bad choices, then I met you and everything changed' which doesn't quite fit with the hook, I think?

I really like these lines
Am I rushing things, it hasn’t been that long
Do I measure things by time or how I feel?

IMHO you could start with those two lines and tell us a bit about how she's head over heels, and pay off into your chorus... maybe say a little more about why she is asking if she is in it alone...

Good point, Vikki. The line is a little out of nowhere. I was trying to bridge into chorus as to why she's feeling this way and now waiting for him to text. But it could be better, def.

Also, do you think the chorus itself is weak as far as the payoff line? (Maybe that can't be answered looking at the chorus by itself).
