“To Late”Not gonna put things of today,Cause tomorrow may be too late,Seem like I don’t got any time,For any thing in my life.(Chorus)But I’m gonna take my wife out on the town,Play with my kids no matter how,Much work I got to do.And I’m gonna tell her,I love her,Cause tomorrow may be too late.Gonna take a weekend drive,Gonna go to church on SundayAnd put all my worries,To the side.(Chorus)And I’m gonna take my wife out on the town,Play with my kids no matter how,Much work I got to do.And I’m gonna tell her,I love her,Cause tomorrow may be too late.Bridge:Today, I’m gonna say what I need say,Cause tomorrow could be to late.(Chorus)And I’m gonna take my wife out on the town,Play with my kids no matter how,Much work I got to do.And I’m gonna tell her,I love her,Cause tomorrow may be too late.

I like the message here but I could not help but wonder why the singer is telling this tale. I recommend being more specific about what triggered this response. Just something to think about.....................................peace!

http://www.pic-a-pagediscounts.com/Real ... ics.htmlHi countrysongwriter1. It's a good song. But I agree with oxe57 that there should be a specific reason for the song. Also, be more aware of correct spelling ["too", not "to"], ["off", not "of"], ["seems", not "seem"], ["have", not "got"], etc.Bottom line, though, it's a nice song with good thoughts.

You've sort of reversed the Chapin's CATS IN THE CRADLE idea here by having the singer talk about doing stuff before it is too late. The problem, as the first couple of folks have noted, is that there isn't any serious impetus for it. This is sort of like: I didn't walk in front of a speeding car, so I'm okay." If there had been a confrontation of some sort, and he came away thinking he needed to take stock, then you might have a point to the song. Think about why you wrote the song, and get that into it.Good luck.
